YOUR LICENSE

I AM LICENSED™
When states attempted to deregulate occupational licensing for cosmetologists, PBA created the I AM LICENSED™ campaign to empower licensed beauty pros with talking points to advocate for their license and to showcase your pride for your craft. Download the window cling linked below for your salon or booth to demonstrate your participation in the I AM LICENSED™ movement!

COSMETOLOGY LICENSE COMPACT
The Council of State Governments (CSG) and the Department of Defense (DoD) are working together to help licensed cosmetologists move between states more easily. They are creating a new interstate agreement that will allow states to recognize each other’s licenses, making it easier for cosmetologists to find jobs in different states.
