Phoenix, AZ (May 6, 2011) – As an industry-leading educational event, PBA Symposium will once again bring together influential speakers, general and breakoutsessions, and networking opportunities designed to promote personal growth and career advancement. Produced by the Professional Beauty Association (PBA), and part of the PBA Beauty Week program line-up, PBA Symposium includes top professionals from in and out of the professional beauty industry in a neutral setting without the premise of promoting any one product or service. PBA Symposium is open and designed for all members of the industry, from manufacturers to licensed professionals, yet customized to give everyone timely and relevant information they can apply on the job and in life. PBA Symposium 2011 will take place July 30 – August 2, 2011 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

PBA Symposium revolves around several general and customizable breakout sessions. Time has also been allotted to attend the Cosmoprof North America expo floor.

Kristi Valenzuela: “Get Focused & Make More Money From Your Front Desk!” This unique and interactive program is perfect for salon owners, managers, front desk professionals, and even stylists! Jamie Naughton: Zappos – “Speaker of the House”. Presenting the closing general session, Naughton will share the history, culture, and practices that have made Zappos one of the most fascinating companies to work for. Learn how their culture embodies customer service and how to incorporate in any business. Monday, August 1, 3:30pm – 4:30pm.

Zappos Tour – “A Family Culture in Action” Limited to only 30 people, take a tour of Zappos headquarters and  learn about the wildly successful Zappos business model, including creating a company culture, coaching tools, operational information and customer loyalty incentives. Tuesday, August 2, 9:00am. Additional investment required.
