Inaugural Conference Offers Education, Peer Networking

2to10Phoenix, AZ (February  26, 2013) The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) is proud to announce its platinum sponsorship of the first annual 2to10 Project Leadership Conference. Taking place May 5-6, 2013 in Chicago, IL, this event will feature peer networking and education on innovative solutions to business challenges. Results of 2to10’s benchmarking survey will also be released at the conference.

Launched as a benchmarking study, the 2to10 Project has evolved into a member program and is rapidly growing.  Fourteen multi-location salons participated the first year, with 29 salons (and a wait list) following in its second year. In its third year, membership will be limited to 45 companies, which were announced February 15, 2013. Of the 2013 member roster, 50 percent are current PBA members.

“There is little doubt that the 2to10 community is unlike anything else in our industry. The level of the information and peer networking is unparalleled,” said Tom Kuhn, founder of the 2to10 Project. “We are very pleased to have PBA as a sponsor. Their involvement provides further credibility and reinforces the need to serve this important market segment.”

Conference highlights include opening session “Building the Culture of Prosperity,” panel discussions on finance, marketing, operations and education, networking events for industry leaders, event sponsors, and the 2to10 members and closing session “Go from Knowing to Doing and the 2013 Plan.”

Participants in the leadership conference must be 2to10 members to attend. Membership in the 2to10 Project is by invitation only and reserved for multi-location market leaders that set the bar for industry excellence and innovation. A 2to10 membership provides data, analysis, leadership opportunities, education and peer networking to all members of multi-location leadership teams.

“The 2to10 Project is exactly what multi-unit salon owners need to better manage their business and seek best practices. It’s helped my four locations ensure sustainable success,” said Susan Haise, owner of Neroli Salons and Spas, and a 2to10 and PBA member.

Tickets are available for 2to10 members for $299 through March 1, 2013 and $399 after this deadline. Space is limited to only 250 attendees, and tickets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. To reserve tickets, or for more information call (612) 202-7385.
