A 40-year industry veteran, Max Wexler has been involved in all aspects of beauty sales and marketing.

Vice Chair: Scott Buchanan, Owner of Scott J Salons, New York

Scott Buchanan owns three up-scale Aveda salons in the heart of Manhattan and is an accomplished educator and speaker.

Treasurer: Bruce Selan, Vice President of Zotos Interational, Illinois

Bruce Selan has spent his entire 36-year beauty career with Zotos/Helene Curtis and has served on the PBA Board of Directors for more than 15 years.

Harlan Kirshner has been in the beauty industry for more than 30 years. In 1984, he founded the Kirschner Group, a global sales force carrying some of the most elite beauty brands in the industry.

Beth Hickey, Spa Specialties Representatives, Texas

Beth Hickey is a 26-year licensed cosmetologist, former salon owner and manufacturer, salon and spa industry adviser, and product development consultant to beauty companies  across the globe.

President: Grace Santiler-Nowik, Hair Base Salon & Spa, Illinois

Grace Santiler-Nowik is co-owner of the 30-year family-run Hair Base Salon & Spa. Her primary goal is to use her marketing and business background to grow her business and support career growth of licensed professionals.

Vice President: Beth Hickey, Spa Specialties Representatives, Texas

Beth Hickey is a 26-year licensed cosmetologist, former salon owner and manufacturer, salon and spa industry adviser, and product development consultant to beauty companies  across the globe.

James Jordan, Matthew Ray Salon/KMS California Global Marketing, California

James Jordan has developed expertise in mutliple indutry facets throughout the past 20 years. Along with being a working hairstylist and co-owner of Matthew Ray Salon, James develops and designs education strategies for KMS California.

President: Edwin Neill, Neill Corp, Louisiana

Edwin Neill has worked in the industry since 1976. He has served in various roles from working in the distribution center to Chief Financial Officer, and now as President of Neill Corp.


Vice President: Peter Garzone, Professional Salon Services, Rhode Island

Peter Garzone entered the beauty indsutry after helping his wife launch her salon. Today, Peter has grown distributorship into an international company, offering products and education in all salon categories.

Cynthia Heisser, Ultimate Beauty Companies, California

Cynthia Heisser began her beauty career while still in high school and opened her own salon at only 20 years old. Today, Cynthia’s professional expertise include sales, marketing, public relations, business development, recruiting and education.

Ken Russo has been part of the Conair Corporation for 40 years.  Since 1971, Ken’s passion and energy for the industry has continued to grow. He believes that relationships are what build a business, and his success has proven this point.

Colin Walsh, Matrix USA, New York

Colin Walsh has more than 10 years of leadership experience in sales, marketing, product development and distribution. In his role with Matrix, Colin is committed to empowering salon professionals to create a positive change for their clients and the world around them.

A salon owner since 1980, Marilyn Ihloff has grown her business from a single salon of six employees to four  full-service salons and spas employing 155 professionals.

Oliver Steinnagel, Oliver’s Hair Salon, Kansas

A third generation hairstylist, Oliver Steinnagel has been in the industry his entire life. He has worked with icons such as Paul Mitchell and Jean Bra and is an accomplished platform artist and editorial stylist.
