There are many misconceptions about the practice of public relations. Some believe PR is a discipline full of “smoke and mirrors,” but nothing could be further from the truth. Your customers and the public have a nose for deception, and attempting to fool them will ultimately backfire. Use public relations activities to highlight your news and accomplishments, “put your best foot forward” and strategically interact with your key stakeholders to build relationships.
