HAWAII S.B. 2067 – Sales Restrictions (Legal Products)

Summary: Introduced version (2/5/2014): Prohibits the sale, delivery for sale, holding for sale or offering for sale of any dietary supplements that do not conform to the good manufacturing practices set forth by the state’s Food, Drug and Cosmetics Act.

Defines “dietary supplement” to include vitamins, minerals, herbs or other botanicals, amino acids, dietary substances used to supplement the diet by increasing the total dietary intake and a concentrate, metabolite, constituent or extract.
