ILLINOIS H.B. 4790 – Cosmetology Education , License (Cosmetology)

Summary: Changes the definitions of “Board”, “Licensed Cosmetologist”, “Licensed Cosmetology Teacher”, “Licensed Cosmetology Clinic Teacher” and “Licensed Hair Braiding Teacher” to include hair braiding.

Modifies the definitions of “Cosmetology” and “Esthetics” to include coloring hair on the body.

Allows a person who teaches hair braiding to be able to operate without a license.
