MICHIGAN H.B. 5396 – License (Cosmetology)

Summary: Current version (5/6/2014): Provides that a barber college may be issued a license if it decreases the required classroom study, demonstration and recitation hours from 250 to 225 and decreases the hours of practical barber training from 1,750 hours to 1,575 hours.

Provides that the license of a barber college is automatically revoked if there is a transfer of ownership or change of location of the barber college.
