MINNESOTA H.F. 3089 – Product Bans/Recall Requirements

Sponsor: Representative Joe Atkins (DFL)

Summary: States no person shall sell or offer for sale to consumers in Minnesota on either the wholesale or retail level, any personal care products, cosmetics or cleaning products containing triclosan. Allows for the sale of these products if they are marked with a label that says “this product contains Triclosan, which is under investigation by the United States Food and Drug Administration.”
