Have you purchased your tickets to NAHA? It’s not too late.
When you look back at the history of men’s hair and fashion, we learn that at different points in time there are certain social acceptances that were made. As a society we tend to put parameters on how things and people should look — and I think today, more than ever, we are breaking down those limitations! I wanted to display softer looks, instead of structured geometric shapes like is years past. I also wanted to utilize texture in men’s hair combined with opposing movement. There are no rules anymore and I truly wanted this collection to say just that.
I wanted to show that ALL HAIR TYPES are perfect, naturally textured and can take on many forms as it grows and is styled. Anyone can embody the sacredness of shape with their hair- it is inclusive to everyone. Hair is hair and it is limitless- shape and style has no boundaries, and looks no longer are attached to gender.
I always thought I would work in construction or be a cowboy but instead I started in the hair industry as a teen, I knew quickly that this was my lifes work and it was all I could find myself thinking about. Its been 16 Years now and I am still as curious and driven as I was when I started.
