Donate now to the PBA Covid-19 relief fund

At PBA, our number one goal is to always unite and serve the beauty industry. It was because of this mission that we knew we needed to support those affected by the COVID-19 crisis. While the Disaster Relief Fund has been in place since 1955, it unfortunately doesn’t include a global pandemic, so we decided to launch the PBA COVID-19 Relief Fund.

The PBA COVID-19 Relief Fund is designed to help support the licensed beauty professionals who have not been able to work and/or are experiencing financial hardships due to the COVID-19 outbreak. “These funds will help pay bills, put food on the table, buy supplies, and while not necessarily large in size, will be another important part of their financial support during this crisis,” shares PBA’s executive director Steve Sleeper. “Perhaps most importantly is that this fund signifies that the industry is rallying, uniting and doing whatever it can to support our own.”

We have seen an overwhelming response to the relief fund in a very short period. As the largest and most inclusive membership organization, we are working diligently to assure that funds can be sent out to as many beauty professionals as possible, but we need your help. We have received very generous donations already from L’Oreal Professional Products Division, Living Proof, Kao, Sam Villa, Babe Hair Extensions, Fromm Beauty, L’ANZA and more coming. And we have also seen many organizations such as Moroccanoil and Boulevard launch marketing campaigns to assist with donations but we can’t stop here. It is important now more than ever to come together as one united community to help each other during this period of uncertainty. Please head to www.probeauty.org/pba-charities/covid-19-relief-fund to donate today. No amount is too small, every dollar helps and will go to support someone in our amazing industry.

We want to thank everyone for their continued support during this time. We hope everyone is staying safe, staying healthy, and remember that we are still and always will be Connected by Passion. United by Beauty.
