Join distributors from around the country at PBA’s Distributor Executive Conference! The 2015 Conference will include a full day training, keynote speaker and TED style discussions all on topics relevant to the daily life of today’s beauty distributors. The goal of the DEC is to provide learning and growth opportunities for all distributors from emerging, to mid-sized and large to ensure perspectives of all attendees are provided the necessary tools for success.


TICKET PRICING
PBA Members: $250 for the first attendee and $175 for each additional*
Non Members: $500 for the first attendee and $350 for each additional*
*Additional attendees must be Benefit Recipients under the Business Membership
in order to receive member pricing.Discounted pricing will be shown on your final check-out screen.

A 25% processing fee will be applied to all DEC cancellations

8:30am – 5:00pm Sales Training for Managers: Service Based on the Platinum Rule

Commissions and bonuses might get your salespeople working harder, but if they don’t have the latest ideas, tools and training it won’t matter. The key to improving sales is in leading and training your people to excel. Sales teams, just like sports team, need a good coach to reach their full potential. They need inspiration and motivation, the best tactics and lots of practice. It’s your job to give it to them, and The Next Level’s sales management program will help you. Sales Coaching for Managers is a “train the trainer” program specifically designed for team leaders who want to take their organization’s performance to “The Next Level”.

In 2014 PBA welcomed The Next Level Sales Consulting to the DEC featuring Sales Training for Managers. The complete “Coaching for Managers” course is a two day program. 2014 attendees worked through one of the two day course and we are thrilled to be bringing back The Next Level to complete the program based on the overwhelming requests at the conclusion of last year’s event.

While the 2015 training will be a continuation of 2014, there is no need to worry as you will have no issues following along and gaining valuable information to take back to your team. This year’s training will be focused to “the client” with segments on the client experience, understanding and developing value, creating points on difference as well as how to deal with upset clients.

INNOVATE! How Successful Distributors Lead Change in Disruptive Times

The professional beauty industry has seen many changes over the past several years; consolidation, mergers, emerging companies and a new customer base that is causing us all to rethink the traditional distribution model. Dirk Beveridge will be speaking to you about his new book, Innovate! and will provide you with the will, energy and focus to lead change in today’s disruptive time. The information you receive will allow you to escape the tyranny of the urgent, drive mediocrity of your business, change the rules and break free from the status quo.


10:30am – 12:30pmTED Style Discussions: “Taking the Next Step” featuring PBA’s Expert Speakers

Continuing from the morning keynote address on “Distribution in Disruptive Times”, the DEC, TED Style Discussions, will focus on the ideas and perspectives that can be used to move your distributorship through the disruptive times onto success. This group of speakers will consist of experts on “forward thinking” specific to their fields of work in customer service, marketing and e-commerce. Following the discussions, attendees will be given an opportunity to participate in a Q&A with all speakers.
